02Why I made Roundify

Why I made Roundify

I wanted a calmer, more modern way to follow a chess tournament: one that makes it easy to find the latest pairings, results, standings, and player details without losing the context of the event.

Chess-Results remains an invaluable source of published tournament information. Roundify is an independent project built to explore how that information can be presented in a clearer, more focused tournament view—especially when a round is in progress.

It is also a small personal exercise in combining two interests: chess and making useful digital tools. The aim is not to replace the official source, but to make authorized tournament data more pleasant to follow for players, organizers, and spectators.
