Terms and authorization
Roundify is a publication companion for authorized Chess-Results tournaments. It is not a pairing system and is not the official source of tournament decisions.
Original source
Chess-Results remains the original published source. Official pairings, standings, tie-breaks, ratings and corrections come from the organizer's source publication; Roundify does not calculate missing official facts.
Authorization to republish
Organizers and operators must only import data they are authorized to retrieve and republish. Commercial use should be covered by written confirmation from the relevant rights holder or organizer.
Availability and corrections
Roundify aims to preserve the last valid snapshot, but source delays, network failures and maintenance can make information temporarily stale. Verify consequential decisions against the original source or arbiter.
AI-generated narratives
When enabled, recaps are generated automatically on request from published tournament facts. They are explanatory text, not official decisions, and may be withdrawn by a system administrator.
Legal review
These terms describe the intended service boundary and require qualified legal review before commercial launch.
